Description
Ethiopia is widely regarded as the birthplace of coffee. According to legend, a goat herder named Kaldi discovered coffee after noticing his goats became energetic after eating the berries from a certain tree — what we now know as the coffee plant.
Coffee from Ethiopia is typically Arabica, and the country’s diverse landscape—ranging from high-altitude plateaus to lush forests—makes it ideal for cultivating a wide variety of heirloom coffee plants.
