Description
Kenyan coffee is widely celebrated in the specialty coffee world for its bright acidity, vibrant fruit flavors, and complex, full-bodied cup. It’s considered one of the most distinctive coffee origins globally — bold, juicy, and full of character.
Kenyan coffee is primarily grown on the fertile volcanic slopes of Mount Kenya and the Aberdare Range, at altitudes of 1,500 to 2,100 meters above sea level. This high elevation, along with rich volcanic soil and consistent rainfall, creates ideal conditions for slow-maturing coffee cherries — which boosts sugar development and flavor complexity.
